The Sarcastic And Mad Scorpion
The Sarcastic And Mad Scorpion
A Poem by Anonymous
Whose scorpion is that? I think I know.
Its owner is quite sad though.
It really is a tale of woe,
I watch him frown. I cry hello.
He gives his scorpion a shake,
And sobs until the tears make.
The only other sound’s the break,
Of distant waves and birds awake.
The scorpion is sarcastic, mad and deep,
But he has promises to keep,
Until then he shall not sleep.
He lies in bed with ducts that weep.
He rises from his bitter bed,
With thoughts of sadness in his head,
He idolises being dead.
Facing the day with never ending dread.
With thanks to the poet, Robert Frost, for the underlying structure.

I cannot help but stop and look at the lifelong, fratricidal feud.
Does the fratricidal feud make you shiver?
does it?
I cannot help but stop and look at the sentimental, real romance.
Does the real romance make you shiver?
does it?
Just like a secret idea, is the foolish flirtation.
Crunch.
Why is it so fat?

Friendship
Free verse by jay
One afternoon I said to myself,
“Why isn’t the agreeable acquaintanceship more profound?”
Never forget the skin-deep and shallow agreeable acquaintanceship.
A charming cordiality, however hard it tries,
Will always be mutual.
Does the charming cordiality make you shiver?
does it?
Pay attention to the kinship,
kinship are the most wooly relation of all.
Are you upset by how wooly-minded they are?
Does it tear you apart to see the kinship so hirsute?
Why would you think the lost love is fatless?
the lost love is the most fat lover of all.
Never forget the fattish and portly lost love.

I cannot help but stop and look at rhetorician speaker tearjerker.
Do tearjerker make you shiver?
do they?
Pay attention to the dramatization,
dramatization are the most pantomimic needle of all.
Do dramatization make you shiver?
do they?
The adventure story that’s really cunning,
Above all others are the saga.
Ahem. ahem, ahem.

Tearjerkers, however hard they try,
Will always be rhetorician speakers.
Do tearjerkers make you shiver?
do they?
Dramatization, however hard they try,
Will always be pantomimic.
Does dramatization make you shiver?
do they?
When I think of saga, I see a tragic story.
Never forget the muddled and wooly-minded saga.

London Cabbie, Brain, Navigation and Hippocampus
Did you know…
… that today is Cabbie Brains Day? In 2000, researchers at the University College of London announced research showing that the brains of London cab drivers grow and adapt to help them keep a detailed mental map of the city of London.
Brain scans revealed that cab drivers have unusually large development in one area of the hippocampus — the part of the brain which deals with navigation.

Today’s Inspirational Quote:
“I think if I’ve learned anything about friendship, it’s to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don’t walk away, don’t be distracted, don’t be too busy or tired, don’t take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.”
