Did you know…

… that today is Liberty Day? The Statue of Liberty, a gift from France and designed by sculptor Frederic Bartholdi, was dedicated in New York Harbor by President Grover Cleveland on this date in 1886. It was originally named ‘Liberty Enlightening the World.’

Today’s Inspirational Quote:

“A bar of iron costs $5. Made into horseshoes, it’s worth $12. Made into needles, it’s worth $3500. Made into balance springs for watches, it’s worth $300,000. Your value is determined by what you are able to make of yourself.”
