… that today is New York Subway Day? On this day in 1904, the New York subway opened between Lower Manhattan and Harlem, stopping at 28 stations in between and costing a nickel to ride! Trivia fans: New York’s subway is the only rapid transit system in the world that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
