Did you know…
… that today, besides being Halloween in many countries (Happy Halloween!), is National Candy Corn Day? Candy corn was created in the 1880s by George Renninger of the Philadelphia Wunderle Candy Company. Since then, confectioners have introduced additional color variations suited to other holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. In 2011, there were even caramel apple and green apple candy corn variants. And… in 2013, there were s’mores and pumpkin spice variants. Enjoy!
