My Take:

The body language, Distance, facial expression – Plogging next day on the beach are indicative of PM playing “Appear Unable when Able, Appear Able when Unable” . chinese Sun Tzu strategy or genuinely there is a thaw in the bonhomie which has accompanied . the two leaders over past 5_+ years.

IMHO,  Mr. Modi looked lost, depressed, low-key and preparing for the next tactical . and strategic moves vis-a-vis China which has become his Fair weather friend.

I wonder why the Chinese protagonist BJP MP in RS from Tamilnadu was missing or the back=channel diplomacy and negotiations are still on with the chines.
