“If a person wants to take the pearl from the bottom of the ocean,

then he should not shout at the pearl to come up while he sits on the beach.

If he wants the pearl, he should try his hardest to plunge to the bottom of the ocean to get it.”

I promised my Granddaughter who gave her maiden speech in the school that I will complete this path.

Had to struggle due to non-availability of spots, health, club changes, international travel.

I did Online speeches in two Online clubs I was a member of.

One in Singapore onsite club.

One in Bangalore’s first online club.
is the moments when the bee in our bonnet gives negative messages and dissuades us from our path.

Positivity and a sense of purpose keep us focused.

I learned Pronounciations, minor grammatical errors,
Body language, Pitch, Projection, Inflections and Pace in Voice. Gesture controls.

is some of the toughest learning and speaking experiences were:

Role-Playing, Cross-Cultural speech – in front of Kazakh, Polish, Russian audiences

Interview, Panel and Difficult audiences were tough assignments and I enjoyed them.

‘Global exposure was great experience.

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s own ignorance—CONFUCIUS

It motivated me to keep building my Social Media followers on Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Youtube.

I have now have 5 Lakh views on my two blogs, over 50000 followers on all channels.

I gave KeyNote addresses in schools and colleges appeared in Trade associations, Global conferences as Panel Chairman.

‘I gained opportunities to enhance Toastmasters learning in personal and professional life.

Difficult is what takes longer. Presentation Mastery was the toughest path I found as it took longer. I began with the Icebreaker in November 2018 and could complete this month.

My biggest take from two paths is I can use the skills learned outside of Toastmasters.

Like everyone here who wishes to learn must complete the path. It is a great value addition to ourselves and society.

Thank you.
