Sachin Bansal Invests $2.86 Mn In Milkbasket Via BAC Acquisitions
Milkbasket has raised $2.86 Mn (INR 20 Cr) in a debt funding round. Flipkart cofounder Sachin Bansal through his tech fund, BAC Acquisitions, has invested in the round. The funds will help this milk and grocery delivery startup reach the required capital expenditure and research and development across domains.
Altizon has raised a Series A funding of $7Mn from the Singapore-based subsidiary of automobile manufacturer TVS Motors. Other existing investors such as The Hive, Wipro Ventures, and Lumis Partners also participated in the round.
About 200 US companies are reportedly planning to shift their manufacturing plants to India after the Lok Sabha Elections, the US-India trade advocacy group, the US-India Strategic and Partnership Forum’s (USISPF), said.
Paytm has announced a new feature to ease repeated and scheduled payments for its merchant partners. This is likely to help merchants make recurring payments for a wide range of services such as insurance companies, home loans and mutual funds investments.
The Indian government is reportedly planning to standardise hiring and payments process of social media agencies who are responsible for uploading government’s official digital content  on platforms such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
