you are the sun i am the moon lyrics my favorite songs

Play Me
Neil Diamond
She was moring
And I was night time
I one day woke up
To find her lying
Beside my bed
I softly said
“Come take me”
For I’ve been lonely
In need of someone
As though I’d done
Someone wrong somewhere
I don’t know where
Come lately
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me
Song she sang to me
Song she brang to me
Words that rang in me
Rhyme that sprang from me
Warmed the night
And what was right
Became me
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the words
I am the tune
Play me
And so it was
That I came to travel
Upon a road
That was thorned and narrow
Another place
Another grace
Would save me
You are the sun
I am the moon
You are the word
I am the tune
Play me

    • Thank you Kalliope. Reading about Ions – Captions and Anions and words with suffix of ion told me that I need to go into cat-ion or positivity zone ASAP. Regards jay

      • I tend to look towards food and anatomy when peeling back layers of meaning. Ions points me to onions, and thus all the crying. LOL. And ionized water is positive charged (That’s all I think I know for sure?) And through the production and flow of water allows for healing and the washing away of sins, toxins and other potentially harmful things from getting under our skin. Lots of love (or laughter or light of life or anything of the like), from Kay. 🙂🙃 LOL k.
